Mrs. Wood’s Kindergarten0

Fall has arrived in the K-5 classroom.  We have read several fall related books, made owls to put on the classroom door and decorated a tree with fall colors.  The K-5 and K-4 classes will go on a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Lauderdale, MS on October 27th.  Our school wide Harvest Festival is scheduled for Thursday, October 30th.  Our unit of study is bats and we are learning that bats are mammals and  they are the only mammals that can fly.  Units to come in the future will be Native Americans and Thanksgiving.  We’re so glad fall is finally here.
